Foster Fail Flossy

This is Flossy! She’s very much on the way to becoming my newest adoption! This beautiful baby girl is 12 weeks old and she’s so lively and fun and just so full of affection! This little angel was found just a few weeks old, abandoned in a toilet block in the country with her brother. Having had to fight away any predator wildlife with their little bodies, Flossy’s brother managed to contract herpes and may have passed it on to Floss through sharing water and food bowls. The good news is that they’ve both recovered from herpes although they will have the virus forever, it’s all about making sure they aren’t in stressful environments and situations! Choose animal adoption agencies over animal farms! Some of these poor babies have been exposed to such hardships and all they want now is just a little love and a forever home!

Happy Home Update – Winston

HAPPY NEW HOME UPDATE: WINSTON (aka Gizmo) Iโ€™d had a rather rough Christmas and New Year but my fortunes changed when the people I immediately knew I wanted to adopt turned up at Paws and Claws. I tried them out first by coming out of my cave and doing a bit of a lap cuddle (much to the surprise of the P&C staff) and for me the deal was sealed. But just to make sure they were on the same page, for the ENTIRE car trip to my new hills home, I told them (in my loudest voice ever!) that I was a distinguished gentleman of 9 years and that I would absolutely not put up with negligent servants, kids or other pets. They seemed to understand because when I got home they lavished me with perfect quiet spaces (replete with soft cuddly blankets) where I could sleep off the anxiety of late and with all the food I could eat which I gratefully tucked into right away as I hadnโ€™t been eating much recently. Since then, Iโ€™ve mostly been catching up on much needed sleep but I have also spent a bit of time on my bedroom chair gazing …

Audrey Home Update

Just a bit of an update with Audrey adopted 3rd January 2016. She has settled in extremely well and is very loved. My partner and I cherish her more than anything out there. She loves to play, she is a rascal, sleeps right through the night (normally under the blankets) and has a sweet personality with constant purring. Thank you so much for bringing her into our lives   Monday, February 22, 2016
