Kol Happy Home Update

Hey Paws and Claws 😊 Would like to give you guys a update on how Kol has been doing, in the last month, since we’ve had him. He loves his bigger, yet younger brother Loki (cattle dog), and Alfie (cat) is slowly getting used to him. Kol loves to chew, and gets possessive over a yellow oval shaped ball, that originally was not his 😐. He has been a great addition to the house, however, he still needs to learn how to not chase Alfie – but we are getting there! Thursday, September 1, 2016

Nonu Happy Home Update

We found this awesome dude when he was just 3 months old at Paws & Claws Adoptions Inc. (via Facebook). Now he is 3 (or is it 21)? We often get asked ‘what kind of dog is he?’ Tassie tiger, Ridgeback, Greyhound, etc … Of course people mean, ‘what breed is he’, and I guess that’s pretty normal to ask. We don’t know what breed he is, and we really don’t care (it’s fun to make shit up) but as to what kind of dog he is? He’s gentle, loving, loyal, funny, cuddly, stoic, lazy, sookie and a babe. That’s what kind of dog he is. Animal adoption agencies like Paws & Claws Adoptions Inc. do great work. If you’d like a pet, then please consider looking at them. I am so glad we have this fella/mongrel/bitsa/mixed breed/bestie/babe in our lives. Happy 21st birthday, Nonu. Thursday, September 1, 2016

Chili

He is the ‘perrrfect’ lap cat and loves nothing more than a good pat – very CHILLED 😛 Very gentle in nature and calm around people. Doesn’t take long to get used to dogs and been good with teenagers. Doesn’t play much so would be great for someone who doesn’t want a high maintenance cat. Chili is just a year and half old, desexed, vaccinated microchipped and flea and worm treated. His adoption fee is just $90. If you would like to express your interest in him please message our FB page, email us at info@pawsandclawsadoptions.com.au or call on 8362 005. Carson Happy Home Update

Today marks the second anniversary of adopting my beautiful Carson from Paws & Claws. Two years on, he is still fit and well. He settled in very quickly. This photo was taken only 90 minutes after he got home. Sunday, August 14, 2016

Meet Bonnie

Bonnie is smart, curious, playful and good company. She often follows me around the house and likes to investigate all the things I’m doing. In the evenings she’ll usually come and curl up next to me on the couch or bed. She loves to be close by, but she doesn’t really like to be patted a lot. She loves to play with wand toys with me, and also loves playing on her own in cardboard boxes and anything that makes a noise. I think she’s pretty well behaved as she uses the scratching post for scratching, uses the litter box well and is friendly and playful with visitors. The most super stretchy cat ever, loves to stretch out fully on her side then roll over. Loves to watch the birds play in the garden Excellent purring skills, loud and strong when she’s getting a good scratch on her cheeks/jaw She really is lovely! Reluctantly up for adoption as current carer is going away. Bonnie is 10 months old, desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and flea & worm treated, and available for adoption for a fee of $120. If you would like to meet Bonnie, send us a FB message or email info@pawsandclawsadoptions.com.au …

Meet Slubavaski & Stephanie

This duo are very affectionate dogs who love to be close to their humans. They get excited when you come home but settle quickly when told to “Thats enough.” They both feel the cold so like to sleep in my bed and love to wear warm winter coats. Stephanie learns very quickly, whereas Slabavaski is a little slower but gets there with encouragement. They are very good with all people once they settle and are great with other animals. Stephanie can be a little timid, but is fine once she knows you. They are both good on lead with well futted collars/ harnesses, and they love being out and about! If travelling in the car they need to be strapped v or Stephanie will try to see the sights. Both are now used the doggy door, however are still not used to going out at night. Stephanie and Slubavaski are 8 years old, desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and flea & worm treated, and available for adoption together for a fee of $250.
