Introducing Maggie F0578 Age: 11 years Sex: Female . Location: Para Hills. Breed: Labrador I’m a sweet, gentle girl with a goofy personality that will make you smile every day. I’m playful when it’s time for fun, but I’m just as happy to cuddle up beside you and enjoy a quiet afternoon. I have beautiful manners. I’m fully toilet trained, although I will need a little time to learn the ropes of my new home as I’ve recently had many changes in my life. I walk beautifully on the lead, ride calmly in the car, and I’m happy to use a step or ramp to get in and out. I know how to use a dog door, I don’t bark unnecessarily, and I have lived happily around other dogs. I’m also good with children. I haven’t been tested with cats. Sadly, my previous owner, an elderly lady, became too unwell to keep me, so I’m now looking for a loving family where I can spend my golden years in comfort and security. I am strictly an inside dog and would love a home with someone who is retired or home most of the time so we can enjoy each other’s company. I’m a healthy girl and have recently had a full set of blood tests, which all came back perfect. I’ve also had a recent dental, so my teeth are sparkling clean. I do have chronic allergies, but they are currently very well controlled. I’m looking for a family who will be committed to helping me keep my allergies well managed for the rest of my life. Years ago I had some untreated ear infections, which have left some thickening around my ear canals, but there is currently no infection or yeast present and my ears are comfortable. I come with preventative ear drops to help keep them healthy, and they’re very easy to manage. Like many senior dogs, I have a few lumps and bumps that come with age. They’ve all been checked by my vet and aren’t anything nasty. I’ve also had a few small growths removed, and thankfully they were all harmless too. I’m currently on a weight-loss journey and will need my new family to continue helping me reach my ideal weight. Like many senior dogs, I’m a little stiff at times and may benefit from arthritis injections to help keep me comfortable. I am vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, flea treated and wormed. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will happily share your days, your couch and your heart, I’d love to meet you. I can’t wait to find a forever home where I’ll be cherished for the rest of my life. All I ask for is a warm bed, a loving family, and someone who will see beyond my age and give me the second chance I deserve.
