Introducing the adorable, Ted (D0272) Ted is seeking a new forever home, sadly his owner passed away. Ted is an active 4 year old male Terrier X who weighs 7.6kgs. In foster care at the moment he’s proving to be a bundle of joy and a great source of laughter with his brilliant personality. He loves to play, run and jump and adores a fetch session with a soft toy as well as chill and snuggle time. Currently housed with the resident Cavalier at his foster home, Ted has proven that he gets along well with another dog and he just loves humans! With the ability to jump and squeeze through very small gaps, Ted will need a secure yard with solid fencing and no levels close to fences (such as raised garden beds). Ted has not been trialed with cats or children but giving his wonderful nature it’s anticipated that he’d get along with all creatures, as long as they can handle a bit of high energy fun now and then. Meet Tommy (D0047) This handsome young man is one of 7 and at 14 weeks of age he will grow into a medium to large size companion. Tommy has been in foster care since a small puppy and is now ready to find his forever home. Tommy enjoys playing on the grass with his siblings, lots of cuddles, a good game of tug of war, playing with his toys and sniffing around to find tasty treats and to explore his expanding world. But once all the playing is done he wants nothing more than to cuddle up with his favourite humans or in his crate to rest and recharge for the next adventure. Tommy is best suited to an active family with older children, and is good with other dogs. He has met his foster families cats and shows little interest in them. Tommy has begun basic training, including crate training but will need a family committed to his ongoing training. Tommy would also greatly benefit from attending puppy school. Meet Bingo ID D0147 Hi there, I’m Bingo! I am the annoying little sister to Bluey…… I am a typical puppy who has lots of energy and enjoys my naps in between. I am almost 12 weeks old, a little girl and a heeler cross, who has beautiful markings. As a working dog, I enjoy playing, I like water, treat balls and licky mats to keep me stimulated and as I am very food orientated I would train well given time and patience. I do get excited and have the occasional little wee when I see you or the cats at my foster home. Toilet training is a work in progress but I do use puppy pads quite well overnight. Meet Bluey ID D0148 Hi, I am Bluey, I am the big sister to Bingo, and around 12 weeks old, but I am a little bit cuddlier! I am a heeler cross with a beautiful mottled chest and tan highlights on my legs. I enjoy lots of things that puppies do, like water play and treat balls. I do round up the resident dogs a bit, and chase the kitten when it runs, so I will need some training with pocket pets. I love my people and follow them around the yard. Oh and like to undo their shoe laces too! I am a busy girl, food orientated and will train well with time and patience. I recommend children over 6 years old as I am a but jumpy and in your face and other dogs faces too. Meet Beau D0225 Hi I’m Beau, I’m around 16 weeks and I’m what they call a Coober Pedy special (mixed breed) boy. I’m a big snuggle bug and since I’ve come into care I have been sleeping in the humans bed and ohhhh my is it comfy! I love playing with toys and playing with my foster siblings. I absolutely love kids and will sit right in their lap and give them a kiss. As I haven’t been in care long so I’m not vet fully vaccinated so I can’t go on walkies but with some treats and encouragement I’ll pick up loose leash walking quickly. I can be a little unsure of bigger dogs and bark at them sometimes but with a proper introduction I’m fine. I’m good with smaller dogs, puppies and I’ve met some cats and didn’t seem too fussed by them. Like any puppy I am still learning my manners so I’ll need my humans to commit to ongoing training to help me become confident so I can be the best boy I can. I am also potty trained. Meet Claire “Dane” I’m a loving 6 month old Great Dane Pup looking for a place to call home. I was was picked up from a shelter by my foster mum because I didn’t do very well in that environment and was very anxious but I’m loving being at home with my foster brothers and sisters of the fur and human variety. The miniature human always smells like food so I do like to lick her a lot and accidentally sometimes knock her over as I forget my size, but with training I will be any child’s best friend. I do get a little scared when on my own so would do best with a doggy friend or someone that can have me with them a lot. I’m very food orientatated…Food is the best isn’t it? I will do anything for some delicious food, training will be a breeze! I’m currently housed with these fury things called cats, they run away from me though? I’m not fussed by them really. Skye C1037 Hi I’m Skye! I’m around 11 months old and i’m a Terrier mix. A few things about me you should know: I love playing with toys and I love long walks especially when my foster dad takes me to the beach or dog park. I am friendly with dogs and cats and very food motivated so easy to train. I do enjoy some time in the sun, but as because I have a thin white coat you will need to be careful I don’t spent too much time sun baking. Bonnie (D0140) Hi I’m Bonnie and I’m a bull mastiff, cross great Dane. I’m six or seven years old and yep, I’m a big girl. Don’t let my size fool you, I’m a gentle giant and I cause absolutely no problems. I’m house trained and a calm girl, even an elderly lady can walk me because I’m so well behaved. Contrary to what people think I don’t drool much and I don’t need a big back yard, I’m an older girl so happy to just sit back and chill. I do like the occasional stroll around the block and am learning how to use toys, I’ve never had any before. I’m absolutely an inside girl and need a cozy bed by your side at night. I preferably need to go to a home with another doggy companion, big or small doesn’t matter, I just don’t like being alone, I’ve had enough of that .
