Zuma

Meet Zuma Zuma is a 6 month old beautiful affectionate boy who just loves to cuddle. He is a happy boy who likes to play tug of war and is learning to play fetch. He is learning to walk on the lead. He knows basic commands and is eager to please and a quick learner. He is currently fostered in a family with older children, a dog and a cat. He is house trained and currently sleeps inside on his bed. Zuma is best suited to a family with older children as he can become over excited around small children. He can be wary of other dogs and strangers but warms to them quickly. Zuma’s is located in Happy Valley with his foster family. His adoption fee is $480, this includes desexing, microchipping, vaccinations, and flea & worm treatment. Henry

Meet Henry! Hi ya, I’m Henry and I have had a rough start to life. Check out my before and after, looking good so you need to remember to get me regularly clipped as I like to look on point. I love hanging with my foster brothers but it’s time to move on. I’m looking for a home with another boy dog as my foster brothers have given me confidence to let my human foster family pick me up and pat me but I’m still a little unsure and I don’t like loud noises. My foster mum said I’m getting more confident everyday. If you have another dog and bucket loads of patience I’m your dog. I think I’m around 5 years old and they say I’m a Shih Tzu. I come desexed, microchipped and vaccinated, as well as flea and wormed. My adoption fee is $550 and I am located in Ridgehaven with my foster family. If you would like to express your interest in Henry please complete a short questionnaire using the following link: http://tiny.cc/dquest/?specific=Yes&dogName=Henry *All dogs start out on a 14-day trial period. Amber

Meet Amber Amber is a 2 year old female Poodle Cross who was recently rescued from a puppy farm. She is a little timid at times but is discovering that she loves spending time with people. She is a sweet and affectionate girl who would be best suited to a home where company is guaranteed. Amber is a big softie who adores spending time with you, she is wherever you are. Amber is a little nervous outside but has come a long way in just a few weeks and is far more confident now. I believe Amber would benefit from being adopted by a family that have a lot of time and love to give. She has been living in a home with a cat and 3 loud, school aged boisterous boys, along with another dog from the puppy farm. The two dogs have been great company for each other but it is now time for them to each find new homes with a family they can trust and rely on to love and protect them. Amber has always had the companionship of another dog and so it is essential that her next home already have a dog living there …

Floyd

Meet Floyd ❤ Floyd is a 10 month old Great Dane X Labrador, he might be the size of a Dane and he’s not done growing yet, but don’t let that fool you- he is really a gentle giant, wants nothing more than to hang out with you all day! Much like every other Dane, Floyd is not much into playing, but will occasionally toss around his favourite toy! But majority of the time, he just sleeps the day away waiting for his person! As he is a large breed and doesn’t quite know his own size, he is best suited to a home with older children. He shows a bit of dominance toward dogs, and should get along with a submissive larger dog- he gets a bit overexcited around cats, so needs some desensitizing around them! A bit of training is needed to make him the perfect pooch, but it’s well worth the work you put in! He will need a strong owner, preferrably experienced in owning and training Danes- he does not have any lead training, but a strong owner with awesome balance will be able to get him in line easily 🙂 Floyd is desexed, microchipped and …

Stella

Introducing Stella! Stella is a 2yr old intelligent, gorgeous and funny beagle, looking for a family who will show her the love that she so desperately deserves. Stella was rescued from a puppy farm, so has had a very sad start to her young life. She had very little human contact, never knew a collar or lead, didn’t have her own bowl, or toys and saddest of all, didn’t even have her own name. She is very timid and still gets scared by sudden movement and loud new noises, but with lots of cuddles and reassurance she is learning to relax. She has shown signs of her fun puppy side and has provided her foster carer lots of laughs while she is discovering her surroundings. Stella is great in the car, and loves going to the beach, and is learning to walk on a lead. As with all beagles, she loves all food and has worked out quickly the sound of her food bowl being filled with her dinner. Stella still needs lots of patients and understanding, as she is still learning how to be a dog, and that humans are good and her new family will give her lots …

Jamie

Meet Jamie Jamie is an 8 year old, male Maltese X. He has come from a puppy farm so does not know what love is and what it is like to be loved. He is a little timid but so much wants to be part of whatever is happening. He gets very excited to see his foster carer come out the back door and he is waiting at the gate when she arrives home, but is reluctant to come over for pats. Jamie loves other dogs and is looking to play with them and has been introduced to cats and kittens which he is comfortable with. He enjoys running around the back yard with his foster dog siblings as well as sitting under a tree or table assessing the situation. Storm and Snowy

Storm is the girl in the first two pictures, Snowy is the boy in the last two. They are from the same litter and get along together amazingly. The male is a gorgeous little puppy, very cheeky, loves cuddles, loves attention and loves his food. The female has all the traits of a fox terrier, she loves cuddles, loves to play and of course, loves her food too. The two get along really well and often fall asleep in each other’s arms. It would great for them to find a forever home together but I’m sure they will be fine on their own also. They are currently living with an indoor cat who they are not overly fussed about. They are very friendly and outgoing to the teenagers in the house and have been very social with all the visitors. Storm and Snowy are 11 week old Terrier X and are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and flea and worm treated. Their adoption fee is $650 each and they are located in Wynn Vale. Oscar

Oscar is one of those dogs, who knows more than he lets on, he understands sit, stay and down, but delightfully chooses to ignore them. One look of those huge eyes, and all is forgiven, which is why he gets away with so much. This delightful young man has come to us due to some minor behavioural issues that led his family to decide he would be better suited in a different environment. These issues will be fully disclosed to any potential adopters. He is a sweet and charming young man, who relies heavily on his owner for a sense of security, as he suffers very mild separation anxiety, so would suit someone who is home a lot of the time, or someone who has another small dog for a companion. Due to a bad experience, Oscar does not react well with larger dogs. Oscar cannot be rehomed with small animals (Guinea Pigs, Rabbits or Chooks). AGE: 4 years 1 month BREED: Maltese X Shih-Tzu VETWORK: Desexed, Microchipped & Vaccinated ADOPTION FEE: $450.00 If you would like to meet him or would like more information please message our facebook page or contact us on 8362 0056 or send an email …
