Shadow is a sweet, 9 month-old black female kitten who’s come a long way from her rough start. Born in the heart of Nuriootpa, she grew up in the farm life, dodging dangers like roads, farmers, and predators. Shadow’s life was tough from the beginning, having witnessed the heartbreaking loss of her sibling to a car accident. Despite these early traumas, Shadow has made incredible strides over the past six months in foster care. Initially timid and scared, she’s blossomed into a completely different kitten—still a little cautious, but now filled with curiosity and hope. Shadow loves spending time with her foster brother, Patrick. Their bond is heartwarming to see! Crying when she can’t locate him in the house or when she feels she’s missing out on fun. She loves all the other animals in her foster home and would benefit from a confident kitty best friend. She loves to play with the ball machine, chasey, hiding in her tunnel and watching the birds out the screen door. Ideally, her new family will be patient and appreciate her progress. A calm and quieter home would be best for her to thrive. Shadow is currently in Salisbury East, she is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated, and her adoption fee is $120.
