Angus
Introducing Angus.
Hi my name is Angus & my foster family call me ginger boy (ID# A0962). I am a 1 year old male and I am looking for my furever home. I would like to share some fun facts about ginger cats with you all.
1. Ginger cats have a reputation for being friendly, affectionate and easy going. This is definitely me. I’m cautious when meeting new humans, but once I can trust them I want to be around them as much as I can! I love to play with them and smooch & cuddle. I even enjoy being carried around. I am loyal and will stick by your side, literally!
2. Ginger cats are around 80% male. That’s me, I’m a ginger boy. 🙂
3. Most ginger cats are solid orange with tabby markings, though you may also come across bi-colour ginger cats, which are typically orange and white; like me! I have a white tummy, chin, neck and socks.
4. Many ginger cats develop black freckles on their face. They most commonly appear in their lips, nose and gums. Mine are on inside my lips/ gums.
As you can see, ginger cats are very special, and I am looking to find a special place in someones heart. I’d love to find a home where I can safely explore some of the outdoors; either on a harness, cat run, or catio. I love to have a chat and typically respond to humans with my large vocabulary of chirps, meows and rolling ‘R’s’. I’m looking forward to meeting my new family soon.
Angus is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and has been treated for fleas and worms. He has not been tested with other animals, but his foster carers believe he is tolerant enough to deal with children while under supervision. He is currently staying with a foster family in Northfield and his adoption cost is $90.
