Apricot
Hi friends, Iām Apricot! š
Iāve finally graduated from foster care and I am ready to step into the big world of finding my forever family.
Lifeās been a bit of a rollercoaster for me in my short few months earth side, but in that time frame I have done a lot of āpersonal growthā (as the millennials might say). I didnāt get a lot of love the first few weeks of my life, so itās taken a while for me to adjust to my overbearing foster mumma. She tells me itās for my own good and while I used to struggle away from her, now I have learnt to go with the flow a little more.
I still have skittish tendencies, so donāt move too quickly around me otherwise I might run away, but if you move slowly enough, I will trust you and let you love on me. Itās through this that I actually learnt to love love, and have recently started to purr from human touch.. turns out it āaint so bad after all!
I would also like to mention that I am still very independent and I am happy to be around you but let you do your own thing. I like to watch from afar (I promise I am not judging š) and hang out in my kitty tower (throne) while you do your thing.
Iād love to meet you, but please understand that I might be a little bit unsure of you at first. My foster mum has learnt a new trick (itās called roast chicken) and that has been working a treat to win over my love. I will accept this as a bribe š¬
Apricot is 11 weeks old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated. He is living in West Beach with his foster family and the adoption fee is $190.
