Hi my name is Evie. I am a sweet one year old ginger girl. Being ginger and female, I am already pretty special, but I am also very lucky. When I came into the care of Paws & Claws 4 months ago I was shy and timid and I flinched at the touch of a human hand. Well I’ve got to say that has changed! The kindness and gentle care of my foster family has taught me that full body pats and chin scratches are just the best.

I adore my foster mum and I rush up to greet her as soon as she enters the room. I respond to my name and to an outstretched hand as I know it’s calling me over for some affection. I am still quite wary of loud noises and sudden movements, so I would prefer a quieter home with no young children. I’d enjoy a life with adults who are home a lot or I would be happy as part of a family with older children. I would really like the company of another gentle cat or kitten. I have shared my foster home with adult foster cats and foster kittens and I’ve made friends with them all. I am untested with dogs, I would be wary of boisterous pups but might tolerate a gentle older dog. I know that once I am settled in my forever home, I will become more and more affectionate. I jump up on the bed now and I am wondering a lot about laps but am just not there yet.

Evie is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated. She requires an indoor only home. Evie is currently located in Crafers West. Her adoption fee is $90.
