Figaro
Meet Figaro, Fig for short (A0042)
Little Fig was found and rescued from the side of a busy highway. At just six weeks old he was alone, hungry, riddled with fleas and had burnt toe beans from walking on hot asphalt. Now he’s grown up, his toe beans have healed and he’s ready to find his forever home.
Figgy boy has copious amounts of character. From his suit and tie attire, to the little kink in the end of his tail.
He’s a very energetic boy, who LOVES to play. He’s a very confident player too. He loves to wrestle and tussle with his foster dog siblings. He loves balls of paper and stalking your feet from behind a corner. He even loves to play fetch and will return whatever you’ve thrown, to be thrown again. Little Fig will need an active family who will play with him and keep his mind busy. A sibling would be even better. A calm, gentle dog to roll around with, possibly a cat friend but he’s currently untested.
Figgy pudding does sometimes enjoy the occasional cuddle, but it’s on his terms. Usually he’s happy to curl up next to you, to take his catnaps. It just makes when he does choose to snuggle you, even that more special.
The Fig Meister has some adorable quirks too. He is obsessed with his foster mums slippers, and will carry them around. Even up and down stairs. Sometimes, when you pick him up, he takes the opportunity to do a big stretch and he points his little toes to stretch his entire body. He loves drinking water from glasses on the coffee table and finding his way inside the couch to sneak attack your butt when you sit down.
Overall Fig is a very energetic, playful, full of beans, adorable boy who needs a loving family to call his own. He is currently fostered in Penfield with two dog foster siblings that he adores. He’s 25 weeks old, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated. His adoption fee is $160.
