Marigold
Meet Marigold!
Marigold is a beautiful, 1 year old, long haired tabby girl.
This lovely lady was left behind at a rental property. She and her four babies were locked in a room, with little food and water, during a 40’c heatwave, for four weeks before they were found and rescued. Considering her circumstances, Marigold did an incredible job raising her babies and now they’ve all flown the nest, it’s time for this lovely mummy to find her own furever home.
Marigold is very poised and elegant during the daylight hours. Once she’s had her breakfast, she’ll find a nice warm spot, curl up and nap the day away. She’ll greet you at the door when you come home from work, and chat with you about how your day was.
Then once the sun sets and she’s had her dinner, it’s game on! Marigold absolutely loves to play. She has oodles of energy and needs lots of toys to keep her busy.
Marigold is a beautiful cat inside and out, but she is very timid. Her new adopters will need to be patient as she learns her new home is safe. She doesn’t like loud noises or crazy energy so young children are a no. Older, quieter children would be just fine. She’s currently living with two dogs. One calm dog that she doesn’t mind, but the other is a little crazy and she doesn’t like him very much. So a calm, older dog is definitely more her style.
Given that Marigold has long hair, she does shed. Weekly brushing will ensure her coat stays tangle free, and will also help with shedding.
Marigold is a beautiful cat and is great company. She’ll monitor your shower, supervise you making dinner and loves Netflix binges on the couch.
Marigold is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, worm and flea treated. Her adoption fee is $120 and she’s currently located in Penfield.
