Can you provide safe and loving homes to members of Team Fearful?
Back in late 2018, a P&C volunteer stumbled across a colony of cats living happily (but, as cats do, breeding uncontrollably) in the yard of a local business.
Over a period of 18 months, a total of 22 cats were rescued – All kittens were rehomed and all adult cats were desexed, registered as pets of the business where they resided and continued to be cared for by our volunteer.
Fast forward to 2022 when new business owners told our volunteer that the cats had to go…
With no alternative option to save their lives, the adult cats are now in the care of P&C.
Unfortunately finding homes for unsocialised cats isn’t easy… but we know there are some special people out there who will provide them with a safe space, full tummies and not be upset that they are not (at the moment!) too keen on human company. Can this special someone be you?
Meet the team! (The cats lived across two yards and so can be rehomed in two smaller groups)
Team Trio – Team Trio is made up of Mama Caramella (Tortie) and her beautiful boys Eddie (Ginger) and Morgan (Black and White). Whilst all shy, there are getting more relaxed in the presence of humans. The trio are extremely bonded (call one of their names and all three appear!) and must be rehomed together.
Crew of Two – The crew is made up of Ned and Woody Willow. Woody Willow is a independent little lady and her bestie Ned is always by her side looking for her reassurance. Ned does not cope without Woody Willow and as such the Crew must be rehomed together.
If you can offer a loving and secure environment for Team Trio and/or the Crew of Two, please, please complete an application… They too deserve their happy ever after, free from the threat of harm.
Please note: None of the cats have ever lived indoors and whilst they may become accustomed to the luxury of indoor living in the future, a forever home in which they can enjoy a secure outdoor space and time to adapt to being around their humans is a priority.
They are all desexed, vaccinated and toilet trained. Adoption fee $0 (YES that’s correct no adoption fee).
