Liana

Introducing Liana. Hi, my name is Liana and I am a beautiful, sleek, black, one year old girl with captivating eyes. I guess I am really a kind of indoor panther, but a lot more affectionate than those in the wild. I love to rub my head up against you to remind you that I need some attention. If you have been away for a few hours, I will greet you at the door when you arrive home. I will occasionally gently chirrup at you and my purr is subtle and quiet so I am not going to cause you any noise pollution. Sometimes I am so quiet, you might think I am not there and then I will suddenly appear by your side. My foster mum has told me I have a very expressive tail. It flicks and sways to let you know if I am feeling playful or just considering if it’s time for a nap on your bed. Some of my favourite things to do are explore, chase balls, and play with my ball run. I am not keen on the bigger cats I have met, but I think with a slow introduction I may adapt to …

Ashley

Introducing Ashley. Ashley was rescued by Paws and Claws from a backyard where he was living, desperate to find somewhere warm to stay. Thankfully the nice family there did feed him and kept him safe. Once in foster care, Ashley spent some time with a lovely lady who gave him loads of attention and love. As he has only been living in foster care for a short time, sometimes he does hide because he becomes a bit overwhelmed and frightened. He is just a little unsure of humans as he hasn’t had someone to care for him before. It will take a bit of time to completely relax in a new home but he is gradually learning that people are ok. Ashley is fine with being picked up but can’t be held for long before wanting to get down. Ashley has been introduced to a placid dog but may not like a jumpy dog and get really scared. He will benefit from a patient family who understand he will need some time to settle in and learn how to play. Ashley is 9 months old, toilet trained and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated. His adoption fee …

Bobbi

Meet Bobbi. Bobbi was a street kitten in Coober Pedy who has been rescued and given a second chance. She looks a bit like a wild cat – Bob cat with little black tuffs of fur on the end of her ears. Bobbi has the loudest purr when she gets to know you. Melting into your hand sideways for more pats as you try to stop and leave her. Considering she had such a rough start to life, it is amazing that within only a few weeks of being shown love and nurturing, she already trusts her human foster carer. Bobbi can’t resist “premium cat sticks” while you hold them – this will be the way into her new owners heart. These are her achilles heel, and guarantee you get to hear that “tractor” purr. She enjoys playtime and especially loves trying to catch things. Zooming around after them. Bobbi will need a patient and understanding home. She will need time to learn to trust her new family on her own terms. There is nothing better than adopting a rescue kitten and watching them become more confident and grateful because of your dedication and love. Bobbi is 16 weeks old …

Blackie

Introducing Blackie. Hi my name is Blackie, I was rescued by Paws and Claws from a backyard where I was living as I was desperate to find somewhere warm and the nice family there did feed me. I then spent some time with a lovely lady who gave me loads of attention and love. I have only been living in foster care for a short time, so sometimes I get a bit overwhelmed and frightened. I am just a little unsure of humans as I haven’t had someone to care for me before. As I am still shy, it will take a bit of time to completely come out of my shell in a new home. I am gradually learning that people are ok, I am getting used to being picked up and I love sitting on a warm lap. I like other cats and enjoy cuddling and sleeping with them. I would very much like to go to a home where there is another cat I can make friends with for company. I have been introduced to a placid dog, who I didn’t mind at all, but I wouldn’t like a jumpy dog as I get really scared. Blackie …

Adonis

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Adonis (yes, just like the Greek God) I’m a very handsome young man, but due to a passport mixup at the embassy, they translated my birth records wrong, so we’re not sure if I am 6 or 8 ½ years old. But let’s be honest, age is just a number, and when you are as handsome and charming as me, does it matter if I’m slightly older? In my youth, I was a bit of a ladies man, and would often take on the other street boys to defend my ladies honour. Due to my fights, I have some scars and I am also FIV positive. But keep me inside or in a cat run, and that shouldn’t be a problem. I’m a bit wary around new people but once I know you, I will warm up. Now ladies it’s important to know, I’m a truly affectionate young man, and would prefer to keep your lap all to myself. But with careful analysis, I can see if your other four legged friends are worthy of sharing my space. I believe I am now a true aussie male, in that I don’t cook, …

Jameson

Introducing Jameson. Hi I’m Jameson, I’m a 6 month old boy who didn’t have a home to call my own for a long time. I had set up camp in a backyard where I felt a little safer and at least I was able to get some food. Paws and Claws rescued me and since then I have been staying with a lovely lady who gives me loads of attention and love. Her warm and cosy home has been mine for a few weeks but now it is time for me to find my forever home. I’ve recently had my top canines out because my mouth was so sore and I feel much better these days. I love the foster carers other cats, I enjoy cuddling and playing with them. I would very much like to go to a home where there is another cat I can make friends with for company. I have only been living in foster care for a short time, so sometimes I run away and hiss because I am a bit overwhelmed and frightened. I am still learning to relax and not be so scared, I am just a little unsure of humans as I …

Milo

MEET MILO Hi, I’m Milo and I’m a 9 year old chocolate Lab looking for my forever home. I’m a sweet dog just wanting to give lots of love and be loved back. I don’t mind being home by myself but will miss you while you are out. I do bark at things that I don’t understand and at other animals. I think a home with no other animals is best. I enjoy the company of other female dogs but prefer to not share my owners with other male dogs. I don’t like to be locked outside but I love being inside and relaxed when you go to work. I am quite funny in the way I put my head between your legs to get extra pats and also for security. I really love tummy rubs and lots of pats. I am great on the lead and love walks but I will also be happy to sit with you and relax. Like most Labradors I LOVE dinner time. With a bit of patience I will sit on my mat while food is being prepared. I like to bark at a knock on the door but then will go find my …

Ruben

Hi I’m Ruben. I’m a 13 week old male domestic with medium hair. My story is a sad one. My siblings and I were dumped in a suitcase in a park. Luckily a lovey lady came upon us and took us to the vet where we were then surrendered to Paws and Claws Adoptions. We were fattened up, showed love, toys and scratching poles! Wow what a life! Now I just need to find my forever home. I’m super friendly, purr like a machine and love to sit up on your shoulder and fall asleep. I have been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and wormed. I am living in Ingle Farm with my foster family and my adoption fee is $190. If you would like to express your interest in Ruben, please fill in an application using the link below: http://tiny.cc/cquest/?specific=Yes&catName=Ruben For more information, please message our Facebook page, contact us on 0416 364 228 or send an email to info@pawsandclawsadoptions.com.au SA Breeder DACO110502 Back to Cats for Adoption Friday, August 28, 2020
