Archie

Introducing Archie! Archie is an 18 month old boy and is the most unique and quirky young man. Archie has a very special best friend…a toothbrush (aka Toothie) he loves nothing more than being scratched under his chin and rubbing himself all over his bestie. He also likes to give him kisses and nibbles with his remaining 2 teeth so even though he doesn’t have many they are always nice and clean. He also enjoys chasing anything on a string, diving head first into his bean bag and has the funniest meow that almost sounds like a honk (I told you he was quirky!) He is a very sociable boy and would do well in a home with another cat to keep him company. He is still learning to be friends with humans so he would be looking for a special someone who will give him lots of patience, pats and play time to help him continue adapting. He already loves being given back and bum scratches and always accepts a chin scratch from Toothie. Come meet this gorgeous boy at his foster home in Hope Valley. Archie has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated. His adoption fee …

Biscuit

Introducing Biscuit. Hi I’m Biscuit, I am a 17 week old gorgeous boy, born 8/3/20, who loves playing with toys, running around the house playing chasey and exploring every room, always on the look out for something new to play with or someone to cuddle up to. I’m very friendly and affectionate and I love nothing more than to find a lap to sit on when my play time has finished. I love being around humans. I have met my foster mummy’s cats and I must admit at first I growled at them as I wasn’t too sure if they were friendly. I quickly worked out I didn’t need to be scared and I now love playing with their tails when they wag. I have also met my foster mummy’s dog, who is very placid, so it didn’t take me very long to know everything was ok. If you have a dog or cat at your house, it might take me a little while to get to know them before I feel safe and I am ready to make friends and play. Biscuit is toilet trained and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated. He is currently living …

Chester

Introducing Chester. Hi there! My name is Chester, and I’m so excited to be venturing out on my own to find a new family. Things didn’t start off as planned for me, but I never let any of that hold me back — I came into care being very scared and unsure. I hadn’t received a lot of love prior… but as soon as I realised I could get it, I became a love addict! It’s pretty important to me that I go to a home with lotsa love to give. As soon as I see a human I switch on my engine (purr) and demand pats. If you reach your hand out to me, I will instantly lean my head into you. Human connection is very important to me 😻 Don’t get me wrong, I am also independent. I love to explore, sleep, eat and play as well. If you think we might be a great fit — I’d love to meet you, but please be aware that it does take me some time to feel comfortable around new people. I do still get scared at sudden movements and new faces, but I am getting more confident each day. …

Piccolo

Introducing Piccolo. Hey 😻 My name is Piccolo, and I’m on the hunt for my forever home. I just learnt something really neat: humans are my friends! I must say it took me a bit of time to recognise this, as I had a bit of a rocky beginning, but with every day that passes, I lean more into this new ‘phenomenon’. Let me explain a little bit about myself! I must admit I do get scared easily but please trust me that I am working on it. Sudden movements and new faces get me feeling a little triggered, but if you move as slow as a sloth, you can often trick me into pats 😝. In the last few days I actually registered that being patted actually feels good! I let my foster mum pat me and I even purred for her (twice!), it was a big moment for me. If you’re willing to spend some time earning my trust, we can be best pals. My curiosity and playfulness is getting more and more dominant with each day, and a bit of roast chicken tends to help the cause 😬 I’ve been moved around a lot as a kitty, …

Apricot

Hi friends, I’m Apricot! 🍑 I’ve finally graduated from foster care and I am ready to step into the big world of finding my forever family. Life’s been a bit of a rollercoaster for me in my short few months earth side, but in that time frame I have done a lot of ‘personal growth’ (as the millennials might say). I didn’t get a lot of love the first few weeks of my life, so it’s taken a while for me to adjust to my overbearing foster mumma. She tells me it’s for my own good and while I used to struggle away from her, now I have learnt to go with the flow a little more. I still have skittish tendencies, so don’t move too quickly around me otherwise I might run away, but if you move slowly enough, I will trust you and let you love on me. It’s through this that I actually learnt to love love, and have recently started to purr from human touch.. turns out it ‘aint so bad after all! I would also like to mention that I am still very independent and I am happy to be around you but let you …

Raven

MEET RAVEN Hi peoples, I’m Raven. My brother Mason may have already told you a bit about me through his posts – see down the bottom if you haven’t. Well it’s time for us to find our new furever homes. How to best describe me??? I’m an adorable supercharged firecracker! I’m only tiny (although I look quite big in photos – I’m really very little for my age of 19 weeks). I’m full of energy and attack everything full throttle. My brothers and foster mum nicknamed me “Wigglebum” cause I can’t sit still. Even at bedtime I have to move around constantly till I find just the right place in the pile with my brothers to snuggle into. And when I cuddle with my foster mum, I have complete faith that she will not let me fall as I wiggle about getting pats in all the right places – which is everywhere! I also love to run, play and explore new places and find things I missed in old places too. I’m always happy and love to randomly jump on my foster mum for cuddles throughout the day (and night). I luv cuddles – did I mention that? I’ve been …

Logan

MEET LOGAN Hi ya, I’m Logan. You may have heard a bit about me through my twin brother Mason and his posts. If you haven’t, read the recap down the bottom of this post. Well it’s time for us to find our new furever homes. I finally get a post where the rest is all about me, so here goes. I’m the biggest of my 3 siblings now – at 19 weeks I am almost double their size – I’m normal size, they are small. I’m probably more reserved and will take a little extra time to sus out the situation before jumping in to explore. I need to know that I am safe in new situations. While I love to play with my siblings, I’m also the most likely to become a couch potato – I love to cuddle my human and watch TV with you. Most of the time this will be with me in your arms upside down with you rubbing my tummy while I purr and make air biscuits and stare at you with my adoring eyes. At night, I love to sleep in a pile with my siblings in our foster mum’s arms all snuggly …

Mason

MASON’S READY FOR ADOPTION – IT’S TIME!!!! Hi everybody, Mason here again and now I’m ready for adoption! Wow, what a ride it’s been – and look how much I’ve grown. It’s finally time and I’m ready for my new furever home. For anyone who has not been following my story, I’ll give you the “Cliffs Notes” version. My name is Mason and me and my siblings were handed into Paws & Claws as weee barely week-old babies along with our mamma. Sadly, me (and 2 of my siblings) already had broken legs and we lost one of our sisters due to her injuries. Then we lost our mamma and we became bottle babies. So my brother and I started life with our tiny leggies in casts that had to be changed several times a week. While my brothers leggie healed well, unfortunately my leggie didn’t and became a big ol’ mess, so I went in for surgery (twice) to have it removed – but through it all we remained loving, sweet, happy babies determined to make it against the odds. Along the way we so sadly lost another sister and my brother (who’s leg had healed) due to freak …

## On Trial 15-06-20 – 29-06-20Meet Zeba. Hi I am Zeba, and I am 5 years old and a purebred staffy. My mum passed away recently and I am now homeless (except for my foster family) and looking for my new family. I am loving and gentle and think I am a lap dog with lots of kisses to share. I used to sleep with my mum and go to the beach and on holidays with her. I miss her terribly but I am now looking for my new home and new family to love. I get on with cats and dogs if introduced slowly. I have my own bed and toys which come with me too! I am desexed, microchipped and vaccinated as well as flea and worm treated.
