These cats have found their ‘furever’ home

Bobbi

Meet Bobbi. Bobbi was a street kitten in Coober Pedy who has been rescued and given a second chance. She looks a bit like a wild cat – Bob cat with little black tuffs of fur on the end of her ears. Bobbi has the loudest purr when she gets to know you. Melting into your hand sideways for more pats as you try to stop and leave her. Considering she had such a rough start to life, it is amazing that within only a few weeks of being shown love and nurturing, she already trusts her human foster carer. Bobbi can’t resist “premium cat sticks” while you hold them – this will be the way into her new owners heart. These are her achilles heel, and guarantee you get to hear that “tractor” purr. She enjoys playtime and especially loves trying to catch things. Zooming around after them. Bobbi will need a patient and understanding home. She will need time to learn to trust her new family on her own terms. There is nothing better than adopting a rescue kitten and watching them become more confident and grateful because of your dedication and love. Bobbi is 16 weeks old …

Blackie

Introducing Blackie. Hi my name is Blackie, I was rescued by Paws and Claws from a backyard where I was living as I was desperate to find somewhere warm and the nice family there did feed me. I then spent some time with a lovely lady who gave me loads of attention and love. I have only been living in foster care for a short time, so sometimes I get a bit overwhelmed and frightened. I am just a little unsure of humans as I haven’t had someone to care for me before. As I am still shy, it will take a bit of time to completely come out of my shell in a new home. I am gradually learning that people are ok, I am getting used to being picked up and I love sitting on a warm lap. I like other cats and enjoy cuddling and sleeping with them. I would very much like to go to a home where there is another cat I can make friends with for company. I have been introduced to a placid dog, who I didn’t mind at all, but I wouldn’t like a jumpy dog as I get really scared. Blackie …

Carrie

They say good things come in small packages… 🎁 If ever that statement applied to anyone, it is to Carrie. Carrie is a pretty, petite tortoiseshell girl. She is approximately 2 years old but is just the tiniest little poppet (she is probably never going to grow to be much bigger than the size of a 6 month old kitten) Born in a timber yard, Carrie’s eyes and tiny frame still show signs of the tough start to life she had… but her heart is full of nothing but love ❤️ Whilst a little shy at first, once Carrie gains in confidence, her sassy side begins to show! She loves affection from her humans. In addition to chin scratches and tummy rubs (accompanied by non stop purring), Carrie’s other favourite things in life are a comfy warm bed (even better if the electric blanket is on!), a bowl full of mousse and playtime with her favourite toy mouse! 🐭 Carrie needs to find a really special human. Due to being a fragile little girl, it is likely that life events that other healthy cats take in their stride, will knock Carrie off her tiny paws, for example, her vaccinations make …

Jameson

Introducing Jameson. Hi I’m Jameson, I’m a 6 month old boy who didn’t have a home to call my own for a long time. I had set up camp in a backyard where I felt a little safer and at least I was able to get some food. Paws and Claws rescued me and since then I have been staying with a lovely lady who gives me loads of attention and love. Her warm and cosy home has been mine for a few weeks but now it is time for me to find my forever home. I’ve recently had my top canines out because my mouth was so sore and I feel much better these days. I love the foster carers other cats, I enjoy cuddling and playing with them. I would very much like to go to a home where there is another cat I can make friends with for company. I have only been living in foster care for a short time, so sometimes I run away and hiss because I am a bit overwhelmed and frightened. I am still learning to relax and not be so scared, I am just a little unsure of humans as I …

Ruben

Hi I’m Ruben. I’m a 13 week old male domestic with medium hair. My story is a sad one. My siblings and I were dumped in a suitcase in a park. Luckily a lovey lady came upon us and took us to the vet where we were then surrendered to Paws and Claws Adoptions. We were fattened up, showed love, toys and scratching poles! Wow what a life! Now I just need to find my forever home. I’m super friendly, purr like a machine and love to sit up on your shoulder and fall asleep. I have been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and wormed. I am living in Ingle Farm with my foster family and my adoption fee is $190. Ralph

Hi I’m Ralph. I’m a 13 week old male domestic with medium hair. You may have already read about how my siblings and I came into care but I’ll update you just incase you missed the post. We were sadly dumped in a suitcase in a park but luckily a lovey lady came upon us and took us to the vet nearby. We were then surrendered to Paws and Claws Adoptions who arranged for our foster family to look after us. We have been fattened up, showed so much love and given toys and scratching poles to play with. Wow what a life! I’m now ready to find my forever home and I hope there is a special someone out there for me. I would love nothing more than to find a home where I can feel loved, safe and secure, I don’t want to be dumped again. I can’t wait to snuggle up with you in bed or on the lounge, I am super fluffy which is great for cuddles on a cold night. I love playing with toys, playing chasey and hide and seek and also I’m black, didn’t you know black cats are the best cats ever!!! …

Daisy and Dahlia

Meet Daisy and Dahlia. Have you been searching for the smoochiest bonded pair to welcome into your family? Well, look no further! Introducing Daisy and Dahlia. These sisters are absolutely inseparable from each other as well as their humans. Dahlia is such a vocal girl and very interactive. She likes to know what her humans are doing and will often follow you around while you go about your day. Daisy is the quieter of the two, but while she demands less attention, she is very quick to find a spot on your lap as soon as you sit down (she also enjoys holding onto her humans hands). Both of the girls love to be carried around over your shoulder like a baby and will often sit at your feet and wait for that attention. As only kittens themselves, it was difficult to learn that Dahlia had already had a litter of her own babies. Since these girls haven’t had a chance to learn about how fun it is being kittens, Daisy and Dahlia have been loving learning about toys and playing for the first time in their life while they’ve been with their foster mums. Daisy and Dahlia are good …

Painty

Meet Painty! Painty is a gorgeous 16 month old cat with a beautiful temperament. She’s a little scared of people at first, and needs a patient family, but will demand cuddles and purr like crazy when you win her over. She loves finding small spaces to cosy up in, chasing her ball around the kitchen and squirming around as you scratch her (so much so she has fallen off chairs when getting an extra good pat!). Even when most irritated, Painty will never scratch or bite but rather let you know with a loud meow. Painty is a strictly indoor cat, and doesn’t like too much activity so she’s best suited to a smaller household with no young children. She has been brought up with other cats but hasn’t been exposed to dogs and thus should preferably be in a cat only family. She has been desexed, microchipped, flea and worm treated and vaccinated. Painty’s adoption fee is $90 and she is currently being fostered in Norwood. Please help us find lovely Painty her new home! If you would like to express your interest in Painty, please fill in an application using the link below: http://tiny.cc/cquest/?specific=Yes&catName=Painty For more information, please …

Westina

Introducing Westina! (Aka Tiny Tina ♡) Tina is a 2 year old petite young lady with the most gorgeous black nose or boop button. Rightly so she loves to sniff, boop and rub up on everyone and everything. She also enjoys string or ball toys and will happily play with you or on her own. This girl has suprising long and elegent legs which she loves to stretch out for all to see! She is more of a squeaker than a meower and has a gentle purr that fires up the second you give her any attention. This little lady can be shy with new people but don’t let that fool you as, once she settles in, she is a smooch machine and will demand attention anytime you are near. She would be best suited to an indoor only home (princess has gotta have her castle) and she would allow other animals and humans in her kingdom as long as they introduce themselves calmly and politely. Westina cordially invites you to visit her and her foster family at Hope Valley. She has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and her adoption fee is $90. If you would like …
