Penny is a 7 month Staffy X who is an energetic little pup that is sweet and clams down after a walk or a play. She is good with her foster sister, Cherry, and they regularly share the dog bed or run around the yard together playing with toys. When she comes inside she doesn’t run around and is happy to sit on her bed watching tv or snuggled on your lap. She doesn’t chase our cats and is rather cautious of the older crabby one whom she tends to avoid. She’s very smart and easy to train. She knows how to sit, shake, take treats gently and is getting the hang of drop and stay very quickly. She does tend to try to sneak other dogs food which isn’t a big problem for our dog but she may need some extra attention to that which she is working on too. She loves toys and tennis balls and she’s been playing in the clam shell pool. She’s also very smoochy and loves to come up for a cuddle when you sit on the ground. Rogue is a 7 month old, energetic and very playful Kelpie! He good with other dogs and cats, but can be a bit anxious around new dogs, especially big ones. He is very affectionate with people. Toby is a 5 year old Border Collie cross, looking for his ‘furever’ home. He needs at least one daily walk/run or he will get bored and chew, needs to lose weight. Would be best suited as an only dog as will snap at other dogs… Good with kids but will jump when excited (mainly when playing). A bit unsure of new people but will relax after he knows you are ok. Ok with cats but will bark at small animals (tested only with rats). Sits, lays down, shakes. Lived his piggy and squeaky toys. Max is a kelpie X, almost 3 years old who is well behaved, good with people, other dogs, cats and he’s quite gentle. Max has been reported as having some aggression issues, but his foster carer has reported that her experience with Max has not reflected that at all. Tubby – Named after Mark ‘Tubby’ Taylor the Cricketer, this charming 7 year old gentleman, has a similar personality to his namesake. Friendly, Loyal & charming, this Gentleman would be a great addition to any home. Tubby’s former owner was retired, and so spent ALL Day with Tubby, and this is the environment he has been raised in. If Left alone he will bark. He is best suited to another retired owner, or a house where he has another dog as a companion. Be aware he has a slight Heart Murmur, which the vet advised does not appear to be affecting his health. He also is almost 50 in human years, so has some minor dental issues which are consistent with his age. His Adoption fee is $350, and he is desexed, microchipped & vaccinated.
