Hunter
Meet Hunter!
5 1/2 year old Alaskan Malamute, Hunter is one of the most stunning looking dogs you will see. Beautiful markings and an even better nature. He loves his cuddles but loves his adventures even more. You will get to see his biggest smile when you grab his lead to take him for a walk or car ride.
Hunter like most Malamutes has an abundance of energy but as long as you take him out at least once a day he is very happy to spend the rest of it asleep next to you. He also loves his teddys and will entertain himself for hours with them but make sure you have a few back ups as they don’t last forever.
Hunters new family must be aware that he is a big and strong dog. He is normally good on a lead but if he gets excited or scared he can pull very hard and if you are not strong enough he might take you with him. He still needs some work on socialising with other dogs. He is food orientated so training him isn’t that difficult. He knows how to sit, shake and roll over.
Hunter is not recommended for a family with small children as he is a very large dog. If you decide to adopt this beautiful dog you will have a new shadow as he likes to be close to humans.
Hunter is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated. His adoption fee is $250.
