Thea
Meet Thea!
Thea is a pedigree bred Alaskan malamute. She comes with papers. She is 2 and a half years old.
She is a very affectionate dog. Every time she greets you it is done while attempting to lick your face. She has a lot of energy and loves to play fetch.
She loves to be doing anything you are doing. Whether that be playing outside or sitting next to you on the couch.
She is quite calm once inside and full of energy outside.
She has a lot of the typical malamute traits such as cheaky ness, and talking, but she will also melt your heart.
She is good with other dogs but she is big and doesn’t know her own size so caution needs to be taken with smaller dogs.
She has lived with cats however she thinks of them as toys and does try to chase them. Once she catches them she does nothing so will be ok in a home with cats as long as careful introduction is done.
As stated she doesn’t know her own size and therefore isn’t suitable with young children. But older children with a knowledge of dogs will be fine. She is toilet trained, car trained, mostly lead trained (but does pull sometimes).
She tends to dig and chew when bored so a home that has the time to walk her everyday is a must.
She knows basic commands such as sit, stay and lay down but could do with some extra training.
Thea is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea & worm treated, heart worm treated. Her adoption fee is $500.
