Astro and Rocky
MEET ASTRO & ROCKY
These Terrier crosses have been great fur-babies for over a decade and must remain together.
Astro – is 10 years old and the black and white terrier.
Astro is a fantastic guard dog has chased a small brown snake out of the owner’s backyard.
He is an extremely loyal dog and a very good judge of character.
Astro loves to cuddle up on the couch but is also quite content to sit on a bed in the lounge room to be part of the family.
Astro is showing signs of ageing and has a little arthritis. He likes to chew on a rubber bone and play with a ball. He has also recently had his dental work completed.
Rocky – is 10 years old a fantastic little dog proving good things come in small packages. Rocky is very much young at heart as he loves to jump to chase a ball almost a metre in the air.
Rocky is a cute little dog who despite his age – he still reminds me of a puppy’s personality – he is also more than happy just to curl up on your lap and sit with you all day.
Sometimes we think Rocky was a cat in another life.
Both boys love getting out of the house but due to their ages Astro would prefer shorter walks these days.
They play very well together and love each other a lot but not so great with other dogs when on the lead in their own home.
They were homed with a toddler. The dogs would love to be around children that know how to behave well around animals, as they would love nothing more than to have kids to play with and cuddle with on a regular basis. But also would love and older couple who spend more time at home.
These guys are both desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated. Their adoption fee is $250 together and are located in Henley Beach.

*All dogs start out on a 14-day trial period. Adoption fees are to be paid in full when dog is collected for their trial. If for any reason the trial doesn’t work out, the dog can be returned and your adoption fee will be refunded less the administration fee (specified on adoption contract, varies per dog). Adoption fees are only returned via bank transfer. We will welcome any of our dogs back into our care at any stage of their life however adoption fees will only be returned during the trial period
*These two have been returned from their first trial due to some behaviour issues but the dogs have not exhibited this behaviour with the current carer.
