Chirro
Chirro is a medium sized, 10-month-old Jack Russell Cross, (who is about the size of a kelpie), and he is looking for his new best friend. Chirro has a zest for life, and loves walks, pats, playing with you and just being around you.Chirro is learning what to do with toys, what is his and not his. Everything is very new to him, so he needs to be introduced to things slowly and needs you to be patient with him as he learns.
Chirro needs an owner who is willing to put in the time, patience and consistency to training.
Chirro rarely uses his voice, unless it’s to alert you that someone is around the place. Young humans scare him and it takes him a while to warm up to males.
Chirro gets along with his foster sister (though it did take him about a week), so best suited to being an only dog unless you are around to supervise.
Chirro can be left outside during the day or home alone for short periods of time, however he will need time and patience to settle into his new home and routine.
Chirro would thrive best if there was a human home with him as much as possible to begin with. Chirro is crate trained and will sleep in a crate all night with no accidents, but in all honesty, he prefers your bed!
Chirro has an energetic but sweet personality and needs someone to show him love and consistent training. Chirro knows how to sit and wait for his dinner, walks pretty good on lead and knows how to use a dog door.
Chirro does get excited and will jump up when he sees you, and can be a bit mouthy, but will redirect with treats, so may be best suited to a home with no little kids. Chirro is toilet trained, but when he does get excited a little bit of pee can come out.
Chirro has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated.
Chirro adoption fee is $650 and he is located with her foster carer in Salisbury.
