Layla C1022
Meet Layla C1022.
Hi there, I’m Layla, and I hope to find my perfect family, who will treat me like a princess.
Its important you know my back story, and a bit about me.
My original family were victims of the rental crisis and had to make a decision between a roof over their heads or keeping me. So in the last 2 weeks, I have lived in 4 different houses while I made my journey to Adelaide, where the kind people at Paws and Claws have now had me desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. I am still establishing myself while I grow more confident in my current foster home.
I have big dreams for my career, and have been testing out the possible options for my future:
1. Food Critic – I have learnt that the kitchen bench usually has treats, so I have tried a full 230g bag of doritos and must have enjoyed them, as I finished the whole bag.
2. Parkour Officionado – while exploring the house, I have practiced jumping small barricades, lounge chairs, and the kitchen table.
3. Best Friend – I am absolutely devoted to my human, and want to be as close as possible at all times. I absolutely love sitting next to you on the couch while you watch TV, even better if you scratch my head. Don’t get me wrong, Im a bundle of energy, but i truly want a family to call my own.
And I really love to lie on the bed with you at night, something my foster carer said is not normally allowed, but I persisted and won that argument after about 30 mins.
I will require ongoing training to make me the best possible companion I can be.
I am currently in a house with 2 other dogs who I get along fine with. I do prefer to have my human to myself, so if one of the other dogs tries to join me on the couch I will growl, however stop as soon as I am told off.
There is so much more to say about me, but I am still just a puppy, estimated between 4 – 6 months of age. My toilet training is still a work in progress.
Will you be the family who helps me write my story? You can meet me at Hard Days Night this Sunday 17th December between 1pm to 4pm. I will also be available to meet in Brooklyn Park from Monday 18th.
My adoption fee is $650.
