Lucy
LUCY A0681
Lucy is a beautiful, sleek, long haired grey and white kitty (with one back foot dipped in the ginger pot so she’s technically a tortoise shell!). She is 11 years old and shows her maturity by knowing who and what she wants, and doesn’t want. She has grown up with and lived with the same family her whole life, including her current foster sister Rachel, but she’s come to realise in her maturity that all she wants is her own kingdom, so other pets are a no-no.
Her current foster dad can attest that this means it will take her a bit of time to trust her new family, but before long she will be out in the open, exploring, seeking out the highest possible places to perch / sleep, and then demanding food when she knows it’s coming. Ultimately, she will seek you out to join you on your bed at night and share your warmth. She likes to be picked up and cuddled, but is still getting used to new people so will take some time to be able to do this comfortably – patience pays off enormously with this special lady.
Lucy’s future parents need to know that she is highly curious, but also careful and sensitive, and initially may look like she’s angry, but her hisses and swipes are just for show, and after a time will subside.
This mature lady is looking for a family who will give her space, love, and the numerous pedestals she desires upon which to be admired and adored. The way to her heart is food – scraps and leftovers included, so keep her supplied and she will be yours forever.
Lucy is currently located with her foster family in Broadview
