Introducing Clive (B1053)

Hi, my name is Clive and I’m a 5 month old Heeler Cross Male.

I was a desert dog before I came into the care of Paws & Claws and so I’ve been learning about new things like walking on a lead and listening to my foster ma.
I’m a clever boy and will keenly do what’s asked (as long as there are treats!) I do love food – did I mention that yet? And I will excitedly guzzle my meals as well as any treats or chews that you kindly give me.
I love to chase balls and chew on toys and spend a lot of my day playing with my older foster brother (dog). Ideally I would love to have an older sibling of my own to guide me and keep me entertained (in-between much needed day naps of course!).

I am crate and toilet trained. I am possibly best somewhere with no cats as I do try to chase and taunt them with my puppy love. My foster ma seems to think I have some strong heeler traits as I like to nip when overexcited or under-stimulated but I keep reminding them I’m a good boy who will stop as long as I’m redirected. However, that may mean I’m best in a home with no little kids.

I’ve had a bit of a rough start in life so I will need someone with patience to keep up with my training and spoil me with the attention and love I very much deserve. My health is otherwise very good, but will need someone who is prepared to keep up with my dental and coat care.

I am desexed, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and in foster care in Lightsview.
I can’t wait to meet you and hopefully become a priceless treasure in your life ??
